According to the estimated supply and demand balance of grains in 2011/12 MY, the total supply of grains (including grain by-products) on the domestic market by early February in all categories of agricultural enterprises totaled 63.075 mln tonnes, reported the Ukrainian Grain Association, referring to data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food and the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine.

In particular, it is noted that the total supply of wheat formed the volume of 25.882 mln tonnes, maize - 24.264 mln tonnes, barley - 9.906 mln tonnes, rye - 0.773 mln tonnes, buckwheat - 0.285 mln tonnes.

Grain for seed from the total supply forms the volume of 3.325 mln tonnes, including 1.9 mln tonnes of wheat, 0.2 mln tons of maize, 1.2 mln tonnes of barley, 0.09 mln tonnes of rye, 0.028 mln tonnes of buckwheat.

As of February 1, the carry-over stocks of grains totaled 9.085 mln tonnes, including 6.2 mln tonnes of wheat, 1.25 mln tonnes of maize, 1.2 mln tonnes of barley, 0.12 mln tonnes of rye, 0.03 mln tonnes of buckwheat.

In fact, in July-January of 2011/12 MY Ukraine exported 11.077 mln tonnes of grains, including 2.98 mln tonnes of wheat, 6.109 mln tonnes of maize, 1.8 mln tonnes of barley.

In February-June of the present MY Ukraine has to export 14.315 mln tonnes of grains. In particular, wheat - 4.525 mln tonnes, maize - 8.52 mln tonnes, barley - 1.086 mln tonnes.
