- TAIPEI, CHINESE: Traders: Maize Industry Procurement Association bought 50,000 t maize from Argentina at $1,594 + CME May c&f, for Mar shipment.
- JORDAN: European traders: state grains buyer purchased 100,000 t feed barley from optional origins, at $297 c&f, for Apr shipment.
- JORDAN: European traders: state grains buyer bought 150,000 t wheat (likely from the Black Sea region), at $318,69-$321,50 c&f, for Apr shipment.
- JAPAN: Ag. Ministry: purchased 94,389 t US wheats in regular tender, incl. 38,369 t DNS, 22,595 t HRW and 33,225 t WW, for shipment in Apr.
- TAIPEI, CHINESE: Traders: Taiwan Sugar Corp. bought 23,000 t US maize, incl. 11,500 t at $303,63 c&f and 11,500 t at $1,2550 + CME May c&f, for Feb/Mar shipment.
- JAPAN: Ag. Ministry: seeks (8 Feb) 100,000 t feed wheat and 200,000 t feed barley in SBS tender for end-May shipment.
- IRAQ: Head, Grain Board: seeks (9 Feb) 50,000 t wheat from optional origins, excluding the US and EU (Romania).
- JAPAN: Traders: bought 165,000 t each of maize and sorghum from Argentina, for Apr-Jun shipment.
- QATAR: European traders: seeks (2 Feb) 20,000 t milling wheat, Apr/May.
- LIBYA: Traders: seeks (2 Feb) 25,000 t wheat, 25,000 t barley, 20,000 t maize and 15,000 t soyameal.
- TUNISIA: European traders: bought 50,000 t feed barley from optional origins (possibly from the US or Australia), at $298,58-$289,89 c&f, for Mar/Apr shipment.
- SOUTH KOREA: Traders: Nonghyup Feed Inc. bought 110,000 t feed wheat from optional origins, at $282 c&f, Jun/Jul. Also secured 110,000 t US maize, incl. 55,000 t at $1,7689 + CME May c&f, May, and 55,000 t at $322,75 c&f, May.
